1st YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECADE OF ACTION FOR ROAD SAFETY 2011-2020

The Phillipines, through this Department, and the rest of the world will observe the First Year Anniversary of the UN Proclamation of 2011-2020 as the "Decade of Action for Road Safety" which goal is to stabilize and then reduce fatalities due to road crashes by increasing activities conducted at national, regional and global levels. The month of May, each year has, likewise, been declared as "Road Safety Month" under Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A.

Commemorating the event, activities on 13 May 2012 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, Quezon City, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
